Support for your family through OpenUp

  • 3 February 2026
At Conclusion, we believe that you can truly work productively and with enjoyment when you, and the people around you, are doing well mentally. That’s why we have been partnering with OpenUp since 2021, the accessible platform for mental support and lifestyle coaching. Since 2023, family members of our colleagues have also had access to the platform. HR manager Yvette saw firsthand how valuable this can be when her daughter Bo made use of it. Read their story.

Our collaboration with OpenUp

First, a bit of background. Since 2021, colleagues across the entire Conclusion ecosystem of more than 30 companies have been able to use OpenUp. ‘We want our people to feel mentally strong and resilient,’ Yvette explains. ‘During the COVID period, we saw that some colleagues struggled to stay connected and needed someone to listen. That’s why we chose to work with OpenUp: an accessible way to speak with a psychologist or coach about anything happening in their personal or professional life. And the great thing is that you can do this without involving your manager or someone from HR first.

Access for family members

You also bring concerns from home with you to work, Yvette knows. ‘You can’t separate a person into a professional and a private individual. If things aren’t going well at home, it will inevitably affect your work. That’s why it’s so valuable that OpenUp is also available to colleagues’ family members.’

Support in your trusted environment

Yvette speaks from experience. Her daughter Bo has used the platform before. Bo explains:
‘I wasn’t feeling great. Things weren’t going well at school either. I talked to my mum about it, and she told me about OpenUp and that I could use it too. Why not, I thought. I liked the idea of being able to talk online, from my own familiar environment, to someone who could look at my struggles objectively.’

Signing up was quick and easy via a link. ‘Based on the profiles, I could choose from several psychologists. I think that helped create an immediate connection during the first session. The psychologist listened carefully to my situation and gave me exercises, such as writing down my feelings and doing visualisation activities. That way, I received all kinds of tools and practical techniques to help me through any difficult moment.’

Control of the process

Bo used the mental support for about four months in total. ‘At the beginning, I had a call with the psychologist every week. After that, the sessions were spaced further apart. Throughout the whole process, I was in control myself. Once I felt I had said what I needed to say, had answers to my questions, and felt much calmer, we decided — at my initiative — to bring the process to a good close. But if I ever want a check‑up later on, I can simply request one again through the same platform.’

Holistic approach

For Yvette, it is a relief to see that Bo is doing well again. ‘On top of that, it was reassuring to know that I could help my daughter get support quickly in such an accessible way. The platform is available for all kinds of questions, by the way. Think of lifestyle or sleep coaching, for example. And you can take part in a wide range of webinars, such as those on preventing stress or burnout. It truly is a complete package with a holistic approach, one that strengthens both enjoyment at work and personal resilience.’
