How AI brings colleagues together

  • 14 September 2026

New applications, intelligent assistants, and inspiring real-world use cases took centre stage at Conclusion AI on Stage, the AI event created by and for Conclusion colleagues. Yet according to Jos van Peperstraten, AI First Program Manager, the evening was ultimately about something else: colleagues reimagining their work, sharing knowledge, and building an AI First organisation together.

Curiosity as the driving force

More than 25 colleagues took to the stage to showcase how they are already using AI in their day-to-day work. Not as a vision of the future, but as a practical tool that is already helping them streamline processes, gain insights faster, and reduce repetitive tasks.

The stories came from across the Conclusion ecosystem. From colleagues working with Microsoft Copilot, prompting, and vibe coding, to teams applying AI in tender and consulting processes. Topics such as Agentic AI, data analytics, AI Fluency, and the development of new solutions like MAIA were also explored.

For AI First Program Manager Jos van Peperstraten, this reflected the event’s most important message: “What stood out to me most was the breadth of the stories. They were not just about technology, but about how people and teams are using AI to work smarter, faster, and better.”

The common thread throughout the evening was not the technology itself, but the curiosity of colleagues to explore what is possible and bring others along on that journey.

“It’s not just about technology. It’s about how people and teams are using AI to work smarter, faster, and more effectively.”

AI First starts with people

When AI is discussed, the focus often falls on models, tools, and platforms. Of course, these are important. But technology alone does not drive transformation. According to Jos, AI First is ultimately about something much broader: “AI First is not just about tooling. Not just about models. Not just about platforms. It is about people developing new skills. Teams experimenting. Colleagues sharing knowledge. Leaders creating space for innovation. Organisations learning how humans and AI can strengthen one another.”

This philosophy aligns perfectly with how we view innovation at Conclusion. New technology only creates real value when people embrace it. When colleagues are given the freedom to experiment, learn from one another, and explore new possibilities. Or, as we call it: People in the Loop. Technology enables progress, but people remain at the centre.

The most remarkable thing about AI on Stage wasn’t that hundreds of colleagues came to listen. It was that hundreds of colleagues are actively helping build our AI First organisation.

Building an AI First organisation together

Perhaps that was the most remarkable thing about AI on Stage. Not that hundreds of colleagues came to hear stories about AI, but that hundreds of colleagues are actively contributing to the development of an AI First organisation.

You can see this in the way teams share knowledge, in the AI ambassadors helping colleagues take their next steps, in the AI Fluency Programme, and in initiatives such as the Conclusion AI Platform and MAIA (My AI Assistant). Each is an example of how innovation at Conclusion does not emerge from a single place, but through learning, sharing, and building together.

As Jos puts it: “You do not become AI First by rolling out a tool. You become AI First together.” And that is exactly what AI on Stage demonstrated. Not only what AI is making possible today, but what happens when curious people share their knowledge and work together to shape the future.
