As Conclusion, we are at the heart of society. Our projects make work, care and transport easier, safer and more efficient. But we're not just providers, we're also users. With our CSR programme Conclusion Cares, we therefore ask ourselves the question: what do we give back to society?

Colleagues from all our 25+ companies are involved in this network. Our sustainability colleagues meet regularly, which only increases our employees' passion for this important topic.
 
We create true impact by collaborating with all companies within our ecosystem. The required knowledge is often already available at a Conclusion company and we share lessons learned and best practices with each other. Conclusion Cares thus ensures a flying start for sustainability initiatives.

Conclusion and the environment

We strive to limit the negative impact of our business operations on the environment. We feel responsible to reduce this impact and strive to make our IT activities more sustainable. For instance, we largely opt for green energy when using hardware and for our office locations. And we provide our buildings with LED lighting as much as possible. We use Dutch wind energy where we can.

In addition, we apply a sustainable mobility policy, called 'less, different, cleaner'. This means we encourage both working from home and sustainable travel, whether to the office or customers. Read more on our corporate website

In 2022, we and 100 colleagues planted our own forest, in close collaboration with Trees for All and Brabants Landschap. Our forest, the Conclusion Impact forest, symbolizes more than just trees and greenery. It's a vibrant ecosystem, just like the Conclusion ecosystem itself. Our forest provides a high level of biodiversity and is attractive to many plants and animals.

The IoT platform developed by AMIS Conclusion for Eneco protects birds at Maasvlakte 2 wind farm. A radar in the controls of the wind farm detects large flocks of migratory and local birds. Are they coming too close? Then the wind turbines can be stopped automatically. This offers maximum protection to birds.

The annual CO2 Performance Ladder requires organizations to provide as complete an insight as possible into CO2 emissions throughout the entire chain. Conclusion has achieved the highest certification for two years in a row.

Together with FC Utrecht, we have a mission: to break down barriers and increase the share of women in sport, technology and leadership. With a comprehensive activation plan, we will put extra effort into this ambition in the coming months, for current and future generations.

During "World cITizens@Work", Conclusion trains holders of residence permits to become IT professionals. They follow an intensive work-study programme, including Dutch language classes. After six months, they move on to 'Make IT Work', a retraining course that is tailored to Conclusion's needs. After successful completion, holders of residence permits are offered an employment contract.

How can you truly connect all 3,000 colleagues from our ecosystem of more than 25 Conclusion companies? For Barend and Djill, the answer is crystal clear: by exercising together! They have been the driving force behind Conclusion Sport for a year now. They organize a different sporting event every month for which all colleagues can register.

It is crucial for the Coast Guard to be prepared for emergencies at sea. Thanks to the innovative digital modules of Bright Alley Conclusion, Coast Guard staff are trained to deal with complex rescue operations. The modules simulate current emergency situations, and also anticipate future challenges. Mirthe has developed several innovative modules for the Coast Guard.

Mediaan Conclusion developed an AI dashboard for a hospital in the south-east of the Netherlands that predicts patient movements through statistical simulations. The dashboard provides insight into patient intake, throughput and discharge. It also predicts the number of patients admitted by department and specialism with the help of large amounts of internal and external data. This enables the hospital to plan strategically for various scenarios.
